Production Sound & Audio Engineering

Alongside AV integration, Jay Ambrose works as a production sound mixer and audio engineer for film and TV — bringing the same precision and musician's ear to every recording, whether it's dialogue on a film set or a full-length audiobook.

Background

Before AV integration became a full-time business, Jay spent 30+ years as a working musician — session trumpet and bass player, and 15 years as a founding member of the Brooklyn band Vinyette. That background is exactly why the audio work holds up: it's engineered by someone who's spent a career listening critically, not just operating equipment.
